The shareable URL adds ?name= to this page. Search engines should use the canonical URL above, not a separate page per name. The Liam profile is the indexable page for that spelling. JavaScript fills in other names; this Liam example is in the HTML.

Questions about this tool
Where do the state counts come from?
The 2025 Social Security Administration state files. This tool lists a state only when that state’s published count for the spelling is at least 20, which is the floor stored in Little Names’ state extract. The SSA itself omits counts below five. A missing state is left out, not shown as zero.
Why do shared name links use one canonical URL?
A link can add ?name= to open that exact spelling. The canonical URL stays this page, so the same facts are not indexed again for every name. The name’s own profile is the indexable page for that spelling.
What does the trend show?
National published counts from 2016 through 2025 for each recorded-sex category that has a 2025 row. A year with no point had no published observation. It is not a zero. The name profile links the longer series when one is stored. The direction used elsewhere on the site compares 2021 with 2025.
